About Dr Shirley Fung
Dr Shirley Fung is responsible for the review and implementation of all clinical learning activities and educational programs provided by the Primary Health Care Institute (PHCI). In this role, Shirley supports practitioners and registrars by providing a program that allows them to stay up-to-date in their field, up-skill or deepen their knowledge. The training sessions offered cover both CPD related and general material. Shirley also creates the content for many of the training modules offered by the PHCI.
In addition, Shirley oversees the training and support program available to registrars and medical students working at Primary’s medical centres. She has been involved in medical education for most of her career and is an examiner for RACGP exams which makes her invaluable in this role.
Dr Fung brings un-rivalled experience and passion for technology-based education and innovation in general practice. She continues to practice clinically to stay up-to-date. This allows her to combine best practice in learning with the latest understanding of the operational challenges facing today’s GPs.
