About Marirose Maualaivao
Since joining Primary Health Care in 2009 as a Practice Manager, Marirose has risen through the ranks and is now responsible for the on-boarding and educational support for all Health Care Professionals in NSW. She supports new practitioners in their software training needs as well as individual and group education requirements.
Marirose is also the Coordinator for the Primary Health Care Institute (PHCI), coordinating the National Educational Support Officer (ESO) team. As part of her role, Marirose organises the educational events which include a young professional orientation twice a year where registrars have the opportunity for face-to-face training and networking. Another such event is the twice yearly mock OSCE during which registrars have the chance to undergo a simulated RACGP exam and a bi-annual supervisor orientation to name a few.
Prior to working with Primary health Care, Marirose’s background was in HR administration. She has formal qualifications in training and assessing, as well as business management.
